The Juggler provides manual lighting control for the smaller stage, offering the perfect solution to uncomplicated lighting plots.

The Juggler is a two preset, 12 channel desk with a wide mode feature that allows 24 channel operation. Channel faders are set in a conventional two preset layout for easy crossfading. Each preset has its own fade time control allowing smooth fades to be achieved over periods as long as 5 minutes. All crossfades are true dipless. This ability to hold constant lighting levels and varying fade times allows sophisticated lighting plots to be replayed simply and accurately.

The Juggler has channel flash buttons enabling the creation of lively lighting effects. These can be disabled by the flash on/off switch to prevent accidental use.

The Juggler also offers a sequence feature allowing users to program chases or playback stacks. Up to 12 sequences of 99 steps can be recorded on the desk. (Only 1 of the 12 sequences may be output at any given time).

Sequences can be played back using the auto function with the ability to set the chase time using the speed pot. Sequences can also be stepped through manually. In manual mode the time pot used for the A/B faders can be used to set the fade time between steps. To allow seamless integration of a chase into a look there is a sequence master. Sequence steps can contain single or multiple channels.

12 auxiliary buttons are provided which can be used to trigger DMX devices such as scrollers, smoke machines or strobes.

A monitor port is standard on the Jester. Channel, cuestack and submaster data can all be viewed using the monitor. An onboard LCD screen also provides the user with all information needed to operate the console allowing it to be used without a monitor.

A USB port allows users to back-up shows that have been recorded on the Jester.

Feature packed memory consoles with added control of up to 30 moving lights

The Jester ML series of lighting consoles from Zero 88 offers users a cost effective solution for control of up to 30 moving lights. Both consoles have effects engines, the ability to store palettes or preset focuses and use the comprehensive Zero 88 fixture library.

The Jester ML24 also offers direct control of 24 dimmer channels. Playback is either via 24 submasters of through a traditional theatrical cue stack.

A monitor port is standard on both consoles. Channel, cuestack and submaster data can all be viewed using the monitor. LCD screens allow users to view all information needed to operate the console allowing it to be used without a monitor.

A USB port allows users to back-up shows that have been recorded on the Jester.

A DMX in option allows the Jester MLs to be used as an economical back-up console for other desks. It is possible to snap shot a full 512 channels of DMX into submasters or the memory stack.

The Jester ML24 has three modes, allowing it to operate as simple two scene preset desk through to a fully functional memory console. In playback mode the user has full access to all the channels on the console. This allows live changes to be made to specials instantly.

The Jester ML offers playback via a traditional cue stack and can also be used together with traditional Jester consoles allowing an upgrade path users who wish to add moving lights to their rigs.

The Jester ML has two operating modes and does not support 2 preset mode.

Midi notes can be used to trigger channels or submasters. A sound to light jack allows for chases to be sequenced to music. Chases can be recorded into the memory stack or directly into submasters.

The Jester TL consoles are the latest members of the Jester range, offering control of 200 dimmer channels from a numeric keypad using industry standard command syntax. Up to 30 fixtures can be controlled using fixture select buttons and three control wheels.

Playback on the Jester TL consoles is via a traditional theatre playback stack or submaster control.

On the Jester TL submaster control is achieved using multi-function-buttons (an external DMX desk can be connected as a fader bank). Up to 24 submasters can be controlled using multi-function-buttons, or by using a DMX desk connected to the DMX Input as a ‘wing’.

Zero 88 Jester TLXtra

The Jester TLXtra negates the need for an external ‘wing’ by providing 10 integrated submaster faders (20 pages of 10).

In common with the rest of the Jester range, a monitor port is standard on the Jester TL consoles. Channel, fixture, cuestack and submaster data can all be viewed using the monitor. Onboard LCD screens also provide the user with all information needed to operate the console allowing them to be used without a monitor. (It is recommended that for ease of use the monitor is always used.)

A USB port allows users to back-up shows that have been recorded on the Jester TLs. A USB keyboard can also be connected for fast entry of names and numbers. Show files are compatible with the Jester ML desks.

A DMX-in port allows the Jester TL consoles to be used as a back-up console for other desks. It is possible to snap shot a full 512 channels of DMX into submasters or the memory stack. MIDI notes can be used to trigger channels or submasters. A sound to light jack allows for chases to be sequenced to music. A remote input jack allows any button on the front panel to be pressed from a remote control. Chases can be recorded into the memory stack or directly into submasters.

Following the phenomenal success of the Frog range over the last three years Zero 88 have developed the Frog 2 - a new console which takes the Frog philosophy of ease of use and value for money to a whole new level.

Frog 2 will add a new dimension to the current Frog range of consoles. Designed to be used in the most demanding environments requiring lighting control the Frog 2 will appeal to users looking for ease of programming, comprehensive playback choices, live busking or stand alone control of architectural type events.

The ORB has been designed for 21st century theatrical lighting control. Extensive market research and customer feedback has driven the design of the Orb. The ZerOS software suite which underlies the Orb’s operating system has been tried and tested in leading entertainment controllers, the Leap Frog and Frog 2. The ZerOS software has now been adapted to meet the stringent requirements of theatrical lighting designers and programmers in the 21st Century.

The 2048 DMX control channels offered by the Orb allows users to control multiple LED fittings, intelligent lights or media servers controlling video, as well as the standard generic dimming systems common to theatres and television. All of these devices are programmed through intuitive user interfaces incorporating custom designed encoder wheels, multiple playback stacks, user definable keys and optional touch screens.

Programming is via a numeric keypad using standard, familiar industry style syntax. Tools like the integrated track ball, automatic palettes and syntax keys, allow for speedy programming when used by a seasoned lighting operator.

The graphical user interface on the dual monitors provides tools to allow anyone to quickly select and program colours via the colour picker or gobos via the gobo image display. User definable screen views mean operators can set the graphical user interface up to meet their own specific needs.

The power of the ZerOS system allows users of the ORB to make dynamic ‘on the fly’ changes to a show, provides advanced tracking updates and enables the creation of powerful effects via the intuitive effects engine with over 40 effect foundations to build on.

Fixture swap out to any of the internal fixture library of 1900 fixtures make the desk ideal for touring shows or updating of long running shows to newer fixtures.
