The EFX kit is the perfect addition to the Portrait kit. By adding the additional items in this kit. You will soon create drama inducing side lighting to your portraits by using the two honeycombs with the Flex Mounts to create highlights on the side of the face of your model. The snoot or bounce tube can be used as a hair light to produce unlimited effects and light on the back of the hair. The Velcro strap with the Honeycomb could be your background light. For a smaller spot light on the background why not use the "Velcro on" Honeycomb and bounce tube together.

For Product photography the EFX kit comes into is own by using the snoot you can highlight the smallest details which can be used with or without the front honeycombs to guide the light forward. In addition you could use the Flex Mount honeycombs to create a wide area spot concentrated on the background or the subject.

This Beauty Dish is a part of the Portrait kit STR100.

The Beauty dish will give a soft uniform light source, ideal when combined with a reflector or other Strobies products to add a fill light. Using the Beauty dish in iTTL or eTTL flash mode requires no adjustment to your exposure systems.

You can use the Beauty dish as a reflector by removing the central disk to create a hard or long though light source.

This Globe difuser is a part of the Portrait kit STR100.

The globe difuser offers a soft uniform light source and is ideal for large group shots for mobile, wedding and portrait photographers Using the globe difuser in iTTL or eTTL flash mode generally does not need any adjustment to your exposure systems.

When using the Globe behind a model you could add a colour gel to the back of the globe This will then provide a hair light and a colour wash to your background, this enables you to be more economical with your lighting system.

The Bounce Set is ideal for creating that definitive spot light on the background or when using the bounce card for a characteristic catch light in the eye.

The Honeycomb can be combined with either the bounce card or tube, and is the essential tool for guiding the light on to the background.

By using a Velcro strap around your flash you can mix and match each item together for quick and easy results, each will fit in your kit bag with ease, ideal for indoors or outdoors use.

The Velcro strap measures 26cm (10") and has a rubberized back to help prevent slipage, fitting the majority of flash guns.

The Bounce Tube measures 24.5cm x 21cm ( 9½" x 8") with a highly reflective silver base to enhance the range of flash, with black on the other side it can make an effective gobo for stopping the light in that direction.

The Bounce Card measures 19cm x 10cm (7½" x 4") and has a soft white easy clean surface for creating catchlights or a black surface to act as a gobo stopping light reaching some of the subjet.

The Strobies XS is unique way to hold your flash gun and use it with a softbox, a large beauty dish or with almost any any other "S" type fitting accessories available. However a 7" reflector (as shown bottom image) is included with every XS bracket allowing you to add further accessories etc.

One of the major benefits of the XS Bracket is its ability to rotate it's hotshoe mount to enable your iTTL or eTTL port to be visible to your Infrared triggering system such as an SU800,STE-2 or control / trigger flashgun.

In addition to the rotating hotshoe we have built in a second hotshoe to hold a radio receiver or a second flash gun should you desire to use the Strobies XS to hold an Umbrella in the light stand fitting provided.

Using 2 flashguns will effectively double your output, a major benefit of this is reducing your recycling time and preserving your batteries to enable longer usage times.

A wide range of accessories are available to fit the Strobies XS brackets "S" type bayonet fitting, including the following items:

Beauty Dishes ( RF5000)

Softboxes (Any Pro range or Stellar Softbox up to 1 mtr)

Snoots (RF5006 or INT209)

Honeycombs AH6020,AH6030,AH6060 these fit directly into the included 7" reflector. You can also add the Stellar range of Barndoor's (RB4001) and the Colour gel set (AC8011) allowing you to add spot colour to your backgrounds.

The new “S” Type bracket kits allows you to connect your Hotshoe flashgun to almost any “S” type fitting light shaping tools such as softboxes, beauty dishes, snoots, barndoor sets and spill kill reflectors etc. One of the main benefits of the STROBIES XS is its rotating hotshoe mount, which allows your iTTL or eTTL port to be seen on the same side as your camera and flash triggering system (Nikon SU800 / Canon ST-E2). This allows for a greater range of the infrared triggering system with the above units or main flashgun as it no longer has to rely on walls or other objects to bounce the infrared signal back to the unit.

The STROBIES XS bracket also features an additional hotshoe for mounting a radio receiver for full manual control of your lighting system or a second flash unit should you use the bracket as an umbrella holder via the light stand mount which also has the facility to tilt backwards and forwards for perfect positioning.
