While it has been reported to work with older versions, we recommend that you check compatibility before purchasing your NewBeam™. To do this, unscrew the head of your Mini-Maglite® and look either side of the bulb. If you see two holes either side of the bulb socket, you have an older model and should consider purchasing a new Mini-Maglite®. If there are no holes, your Mini-Maglite® is compatible with the NewBeam™.
