The SB901 Splitter Box provides an easy means of splitting a single circuit run into up to 4 spurs. It has one input, and four output sockets. Thus one cable can be run from a system master to a remote location and split there among several outstations, minimising daisy-chaining of outstations. It also contains an isolate switch. This separates two of the outlets on the SB901 into a separate communications circuit while permitting power to flow through. This is an inexpensive way to provide several independent circuits from one power station.

 The Tecpro HS591 handset is designed for use with a wired Tecpro intercom system in situations where a standard beltpack and headset would be inconvenient, in a theatre foyer, ticket office or corridor for example. It has most of the functionality of a beltpack and is suitable for siting on a desk or counter or may be wall-mounted with two screws. The electronics are housed in the telephone cradle base and it takes its power from the Tecpro line.

It is designed to be used on a circuit powered with either a Tecpro power supply or a Tecpro Master Station in conjunction with other Tecpro outstations or beltpacks. The HS591 is compatible with previous generation Tecpro designs. Connection to the intercom circuit is made with the supplied cable. On its own, the MS741 Master Station offers two independent, full duplex intercom circuits. The ME742 Extender unit increases this capability up to four circuits. That’s good news for many venues where the limitations of working with just two intercom circuits is an on-going cause of frustration, but up to this point, a simple and economical solution has not been available.

New features include a greatly improved power supply capable of supplying almost twice the drive current of the previous system. Up to 30 TECPRO BP111 beltpacks can now be powered by each circuit, and at the flick of a switch, circuits may be linked to provide a single “Super Circuit” with double the power - ideal for driving signals down long cables!

Latching or non-latching options are now available for switching Microphones on and off. A light tap on the ‘Talk’ button latches the microphone in the ON position until the button is tapped again. Holding the ‘Talk’ button down selects unlatched mode and the microphone switches OFF when the button is released.
