Solar Barrel Mirror is an accessory that creates a moving image effect, producing incredible results when used with our gobos.
The Solar Barrel Mirror consists of mirror segments configured like a barrel while rotating the barrel body catches the projected image moving it repeatedly. We have made some improvements from the original design, engineering out imperfections like glare and ghost reflections creating a flawless projection.
Combined with Solar projection the OPTI barrel mirror is perfect for delivering corporate branding or messaging, delivered with a sharpness difficult to replicate digitally.
The Solar Multi Mirror utilizes our variable speed motor which is easily adjusted via the speed control pot on the side allowing you to fine-tune your effect.
You also have a three-position switch which sets the rotation to either clockwise, stationary or anticlockwise. The Multi-Mirror’s chassis has been designed to allow you to rotate the mirror independently from the projector so you can achieve the perfect position for your chosen lighting effect.
The Solar Barrel Mirror comes in two variations to integrate with OPTI’s Solar range and the IP65 rated Solar Pro FX projector to cover all possible applications from indoors to out.
For those that are curious to create abstract and really out of the box effects, the Barrel Mirror can also be used with the cassettes or abstract 6’’ picture wheels.
