About Us

Since 1989 we have worked in virtually every field of the entertainment industry. We use a large amount of the equipment we sell so we can give you fantastic but impartial advice on the equipment you require.

Unlike some other companies - our advice is not "margin" bias - We would rather you had the right equipment for the right job at a price to suit your budget. If you are happy with the equipment and our advice, we hope you will return for further equipment purchases or hire. To make one mistake loses us a customer - so we try and keep them by working as hard as we can.

Making A Purchase

Take a look around the pages in our catalogue and click on "ADD TO ORDER" for any item that you wish to buy. Once you have finished shopping, click on "CHECKOUT" (TOP RIGHT CORNER) you will then be asked for the information we need to be able to satisfy the order. Prices are displayed in £ Sterling/

Delivery charges are calculated at the end as the price is calculated on the total weight of the order. If you are shopping from outside of the UK, your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency. They will convert your payment from Sterling to your home currency at the rate they set.

While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of your order we will inform you right away and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you, or you fail to reply to our e-mail within 14 days we will treat the order as cancelled.

Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and us will take place on the dispatch of the products ordered unless we have notified you we do not accept, or you have cancelled, the order.


Shipping costs vary depending on weight, volume or value Please see shopping cart at the check-out for shipping costs. 98% of shipments arrive next day but we cannot gaurantee next day service as we are in the hand of our carriers.

International orders are sent via PARCELFORCE, Royal Mail, UPS or other Specialist Carrier. You will be advised via e-mail what this cost will be prior to dispatch. A guide price will be displayed at the time of ordering however.

All UK equipment orders shipped to you are fully insured against loss or damage. (except glass or Sugarglass products) You MUST notify us of any claim for damage within 3 days from time of delivery or 7 days for total loss (non delivery) of the parcel. Please state the Parcel or job number when making any claim.

Please note that when after the goods have left us they are in the hands of the carrier and we are not responsible for late deliveries.

All deliveries MUST be signed for and we are unale to accept requests for parcels to be left outside/in sheds etc.

We will aim to e-mail you or SMS your mobile with a 1 hour delivery window so you can plan your day a little better.

Delivery Schedule

We aim to get the equipment dispatched within 1-3 business days from when we receive your order. Our average delivery time for the past 12 months has been 1.92 days from time of order. If there is ever a problem with our stock we will e-mail you to inform you of the despatch date. You may wish to cancel your order at this time if you prefer not to wait.

Back Orders

We do not keep everything we sell on the shelf however, our shipping times are still usually 2-3 days from the time you place an order.

Stock Monitored Products:

Products showing a stock number (e.g. 200 In stock) are in stock and ready for immediate dispatch.

Limited Stock Items:

Products which have limited stock such as ex-hire or end of line items - customers can only order the exact quantity in stock

Longer Lead Times:

Products which require a longer lead time than 2-3 days if not in stock

Internally Wired Bars and Patch Panels - 10-14 days

Custom Screens and Drapes - 10-12 working days

If your item is not in stock or available within the time scale shown above we will back order for you. We will contact you advising of a delivery date. You may wish to cancel your order at this time if you prefer not to wait.

Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK 20% VAT is added to your bill.

All other orders are either Zero Rated VAT (EU Zone) or VAT exempt (Rest of the World) Our website will calculate the rate of VAT based on the delivery address of your order.

Please note you may be liable for import duties and import VAT based on where, outside of the UK, you live.

Credit Card Security

Security is probably one of the most significant concerns for both the shopper and the retailer during an online transaction. In reality an online transaction is probably more secure than a card transaction in a shop or conducted over the telephone or by fax, as the information transmitted online is highly encrypted using complicated logarithm combinations.

All credit card numbers are encrypted when the order is placed using 128 bit encryption. They are not held in clear text on any web site. There is an option however for people to forward credit card information seperately. Please tick the appropriate box at time of ordering. You may send your card details via phone or fax. Alternative payments methods are available if you do not wish to use your credit card. We know of no cases of credit card fraud using our on-line ordering system.

Any communication between the shopper and the SSL payment page is also encrypted to the maximum strength supported by the shopper's browser using TLS or 128 Bit SSL. Shoppers are also protected from fraudulent use of their card in a "card not present" environment, by their card issuers. The card issuers provides the right for shopper to dispute a transaction if the goods/services did not arrive or if the card was used fraudulently.


We want you to be happy with everything about dealing with 10outof10. We therefore guarantee your satisfaction. Should there be a problem with the equipment you buy from us or our service - we will do our utmost to rectify the problem as quickly as possible and without fuss. All new equipment comes with at least a 12 months manufacturers warranty.

We try not to be beaten on price - if you can find it cheaper elsewhere then please feel free to haggle !

You must report any loss, damage or shortages within 7 days of dispatch of your order.

Complaints: Any complaints received will be dealt with quickly and without fuss. Please send your complaint using any of the methods listed below. We endeavour to respond to all complaints within 48 hours. We will keep you informed throughout the process and aim to resolve all complaints within 5 working days.

Privacy Policy

The information you provide on the check out form is only used to enable us to satisfy your order. We ask for contact name and address details, phone number and e-mail address. Actinic Payments is used for the processing of card payments. We check your details to ensure we send the order to the right person. We are very aware credit card mis-use exists and these checks are in place to protect us and innocent card holders against fraud.The information we hold will be accurate and up to date and you can check the information we hold about you by emailing us. If you find any inaccuracies we will delete or correct it promptly.

We NEVER disclose your information to third parties. Cookies are used on site, but only to keep track of the contents of your shopping cart once you have selected an item. We do not send out newsletters, special offer e-mails, customer surveys, anything in fact to clutter up your mailbox. Your details are kept on file for 24 months to allow us to support any warranty/Guarentee issues. All order details are then deleted. We will e-mail you at this time to inform you we have done so.

A recent (2011) change in EU regulations requires that consent must be obtained before using any cookie that is not ‘strictly necessary’ for the functioning of the site. It is not yet clear how this will be interpreted in law.

Our webshop currently use the following types of cookie:

Specifically excluded from the scope of the regulations:

ACT_CART. Records the session file of the shopping cart.

Consent is obtained before use provided agreement to the Terms and Conditions is ticked at the checkout

ACT_BUSINESS. The login digest for logged in customers.

ACT_CONTACT. Checkout 'Remember Me' function – stores contact information to avoid the need for re-entering for subsequent orders.

Necessary for the correct functioning of the associated elements of the site:

ACTINI_REFERER. Returns the customer to the last page visited after completion of the checkout.

LAST_SECTION_URL. Used by the ‘Back’ link on the Product Page, to return the visitor to the correct Section Page.

ACT_RECENT. Records the image filename(s) for the ‘Recently Viewed Products’ list.

CART_CONTENT. Stores the cart value and item count for the shopping cart summary.

None of these four stores personal data. The first two expire on closing the browser

Returns Policy

Any item (apart from custom made items such as cables, lighting bars etc. lamps, software) can be returned at your cost via your chosen carrier or we can arrange for collection but we will deduct the cost of collection from your refund. This service is only available via our carrier. Please contact us for a quotation.

The Distance Selling Regulations 2000 state that once "unwanted" goods are received, you have 7 working days from the day after you receive the goods to cancel your order. Your right to cancel therefore starts from the moment the order is placed and ends 8 working days after you receive the goods. To cancel your order please contact us quoting your order reference number within this time period. Return the order to us including your delivery note so we can process your refund quickly. If you need a copy of the delivery note we can send you a replacement via e-mail.

Further to these conditions stated by law: where goods have already been dispatched to you, you can return goods unopened for any reason (apart from custom made items and lamps etc) at any time within 28 days of receipt for a refund or exchange (please note, there will be a 15% restocking charge for business customers). You must contact us to obtain a return number prior to returning goods.

If your goods are faulty you must notify via email as soon as possible and we will arrange for these items to be collected. We will collect, repair or replace any faulty goods and return them to you free of charge. You must tell us when the goods are ready for collection so we can book our carrier. If our carrier is unable to collect from you or the goods are not ready for collection within a 14 day period we insist the customer returns these goods at their own cost.

Businesses need to obtain a returns number prior to returning goods. a 15% re-stocking charge is made for returns.

Any refunds are be made within 7 days of the return of your order. (Typically, the same day as goods arrive back with us)

Nothing contained in our terms of business affect your statutory rights.

Remittance Terms

Payment required prior to dispatch for non-account customers

30 day account for official orders and account holders. We reserve the right to charge interest at 4% above base for all late payments.
