10 out of 10 worked with Flux Rig & Light to supply Briteq BT-Vintage lights for the Midge Ure 1980 Vienna Visage tour.
Three parts of the show
The show was divided into three sections: classic Visage tracks, the complete Ultravox Vienna album and a four-song encore. Rik Foreman of Flux Rig & Light wanted distinct theatrical lighting looks for each section and a fixture with a strong physical presence on stage.
Tungsten warmth and LED colour
The fixtures combined traditional tungsten light with LED colour mixing. They were placed at different heights around the stage to create an asymmetric look. Warmer tungsten looks were used for the Visage section, with whites, blues and more dynamic programming used for the Vienna album section.
The hire experience
Foreman reported that the fixtures complemented the show and that the hire ran smoothly.
